What is Malaria?
Malaria is a widespread disease that is common in tropical regions. Malaria is caused by mosquito bites, the mosquitoes have a deadly parasite call plasmodia. Malaria is a preventable and curable disease. It has been known of for thousands of years. The name of malaria comes from Italy. In Italian mala aria meant bad air, it was called bad air because people thought that you get the disease from dead plants and trees.
